After over 32 years of political tribalism, clan-based system, and oppression, the people of SSC led by the 45 members of supreme traditional clan chiefs have concluded for self-determination after 15 years of SL administration (SSC sees SL administration as an occupying force with no legitimacy as an authority in that region), & according to the majority of the Somali people, they have a right to do so.
SSC-Khatumo declared that its territory is a part of the Federal Republic of Somalia & they stand for the unity & integrity of the greater Somalia.
